This week is the SLOWEST WEEK EVER!!
My friends are taking me to Wilmington this weekend for a bachelorette weekend. It's way early for that, but we wanted to do it in the summer when everyone will still be here. One of my friends might be moving depending on where her husband gets into law school.
Anyway, I am so excited! We are staying at the Blockade Runner in Wrightsville Beach, which is right on the water. An oceanfront hotel is a luxury I can't often afford. Our beach cottage (which is still an awesome place to stay) is a few blocks from the sound and a short drive to the ocean in the Outer Banks.
Work is like torture during a week when you know you're doing something especially fun that weekend.

Nice! My wife and I have spent our vacations at North Topsail Beach for years and years. We loooove Wilmington! Actually thinking about moving down there.
Sounds like so much fun. Oceanfront/beach is the best.
It would be such a great place to live! I like it because the whole town doesn't feel "beachy" like Myrtle Beach and others similar. We also found a fantastic sushi place that I can't wait to visit again.
